We took the whole product from concept to tapeout in 5 months, including all firmware, test fixtures, a new broad patent, packaging, mechanical design, thermal design, pcb design, documentation for CE approval and a working demonstrator using discrete parts that is being shipped by the client while the ASIC is fabricated.
